NEOPROOF range of products are single part, high quality, pollution free waterproof membrane coating. This range includes products based on Synthetic Resins / Superior Hybrid Polymers / Elastomeric compound/ Acrylic resins & Polymer either standalone or in suitable combination. They differ from other conventional waterproof coating due to its excellent flexibility & superior UV resistance. Their thixotropic nature make them ideal for use on both horizontal & vertical surfaces. The coating accommodates limited crack movement in underlying surfaces and bonds excellently to most building material thus becoming a part of concrete repair. The coating is available in WHITE / BLACK / GREY colour. White coating offers added benefit of High Solar Reflectivity.

Limitations:
  • Do not apply in direct sunlight / during rains & when ambient temperature is < 10oC or> 40oC
  • Dilute with potable water & follow dilution ratio. Not to store Diluted material
  • Never apply succeeding coats before full drying of previous coat, do not mix 2 products together
  • As with any chemical exercise safe working practice and follow instructions in datasheet.

Application Areas:

Finds extensive use as a waterproof membrane for roof slabs, terraces, balconies, sun shades, parapet walls, PU foam slabs, polyester built up roofs, maintenance of existing roofs, masonry and concrete walls, sunk portions in bathroom, basements, bridges, decks, metal surfaces etc . Also used as a protective coating to concrete, asphalt & bitumen, cement sheet, slates and tiles, zinc, timber surfaces etc. Provides additional waterproofing & protection when used as base or intermediate coat in brickbat coba /IPS flooring.

Application Areas:

Prepare surfaces clean, free from dirt, gravel, dust and oil. Ensure that Concrete & Cementitious substrates are well compacted & cured, with toweled finish, dry & smooth. Remove rust / contamination in case of metal. Remove traces, loose areas of past treatment. Any blisters must be cut & be filled. Masonry joints must be flush jointed. Apply primer first & then proceed for multiple coats, each at right angles to previous coat for higher DFT. A separation layer of polyethylene, Kraft paper or similar should be placed on membrane before topping with sand cement screed or tiles of 4 to 5 cm thickness. Reinforce with Glass Fibre Mesh ( Embedded into 1st Coat while it is still wet) for better results. All detailing to pipes, up stands, drains etc. should be mesh reinforced.

Apply by Standard roofing brooms, brushes, squeegees or airless spray equipment. Check viscosity to ensure smooth spray of the product. Allow full curing of each coat (ideal recoating interval is 24 hrs at 25oC & 65% RH) before applying next coat.

All NEOPROOF products are water dilutable. Refer Dilution ratio of each product before use.

Storage & Shelf Life:

Store away from sunlight and preferably below 30oC. Storage should be protected from frost. Shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacturing in an unopened container

Cleaning:

Clean all tools immediately with water. Use hand cleaner followed by soap for hands
